Torpedo Side-Scan

The Side Scan Sonar equipment, type CM2, built by C-MAX Ltd. consists of:

• a fish transducer or sonar towed to the boat by means of an electric winch to wind and unwind the cable of data transmisión,

• a Snatch Block that counts revolutions,

• a data acquisition unit (PC).

The purpose of this tool is the collection with extremely high precision of detailed data of the sea bottom’s surface composition in the studied area.
