Environmental Impact Studies (E.I.S.)

Enabling the application of the Legislation on Environmental Impact Evaluation in the Canary Islands, Aemon offers its services to a wide range of actions. We are specialised in actions which affect marine environment and those we are bound to observe by the Law 11/99 of “Prevention of Environment Impact” -like lighthouses and buoys, marinas with capacities of less than 100 vessels, docks and artificial beaches, fish culture cages (within ecologically sensitive areas), and those actions that are subject to “Environmental Impact Evaluation”, like commercial ports, marinas with capacity for 100 or more vessels, etc.

Environmental Management Systems (E.M.S.)

Aemon develops individually profiled projects, adapted to the needs of each company, in order to adjust it to the use of environmental standards, analysing the organisation structure of the company, their responsibilities, their practices, processes and resources, and implanting an environmental policy that ensures that the protection of the environment is a daily priority.

Studies of threatened species

Determination of the state of conservation, abundance and exploitation of highly interesting species, based on direct sampling and on studies of the socio-economic environment. As an example, there are cetaceans in Canarian waters or species of fishing interest.
